New single by Californian post punk band Adult Books is out today.
Nick Winfrey, singer of Adult Books says about the song:
“’Holiday’ is a very nostalgic song for me. I have a lot of unpleasant memories associated with the holidays, but looking back now, I feel this sense of ownership over them as something uniquely mine. I never had that perfect White Christmas growing up. Christmas for me meant wet, gloomy days and holidays split between households and struggling to connect with other people. This song is my attempt to make sense of my conflicted feelings toward the holidays.”
